Choosing a multicolor decor for outdoors
For a lively outdoor space, in addition to a hammock, consider installing flower pots filled with brightly colored perennials. Geraniums, petunias, daisies, and carnations will be welcome. We also advise you to find cushions, tablecloths, and even lanterns in bright or colorful shades to brighten up the atmosphere. LED string lights are also very pleasant for summer evenings. With this hammock as a base for your decoration, there is no doubt that your terrace will be as warm as it is welcoming. With these touches of color and decoration, your terrace will become a true haven of conviviality where it will be good to gather with family or friends. A luxury hammock with two spreader bars
The wooden bars that keep the hammock open are hand-polished, making this hammock very decorative. Without a doubt, the Nicaraguan Hammock is unique. The twisted cotton offers both a cozy and luxurious touch.
The spreader bar hammock: The most elegant of hammocks
The Nicaraguan spreader bar hammock is characterized by its suspended ornaments (wooden accessories) and its side fringes (flecos in Spanish). Its body, hand-woven by our artisans using the double-point technique, offers the greatest comfort in a lying position and fully conforms to the body.
Our spreader bar hammock: 100% handcrafted production
We use premium quality cotton, comfortable and durable. This natural fiber provides an unparalleled feeling of comfort and thus better rest. Our hammocks are manufactured using a completely ecological process, without the use of electrical energy and with biodegradable materials. It takes about 7 people to complete the manufacturing process and about 3 to 6 days for its classic elaboration and up to 15 days depending on the style and design of the Hammock. (Deluxe Hammock).
A cotton rope hammock: The art of details
Each part of our hammock is handmade, paying attention to every detail. The wooden bar we usually use is made of solid Laurel "Cordia alliodora" or Andean Laurel. It is a strong and resistant wood used to make furniture. This allows the hammock to be extended, thus providing a well-stretched bed for optimal comfort.
Metal rings are used at the ends of the hammock for greater strength and to protect the threads that support the weight of the hammock.
Did you know?
July 19th is Nicaragua's National Day. It celebrates the entry into Managua (the capital) of the guerrillas of the Sandinista National Liberation Front. A large gathering takes place in the cathedral square (the old cathedral near the lake) as well as in the large square near the Malecon, where the acoustic shell is located. Often, more than 50,000 people are gathered there. Political speeches, firecrackers, parades. Rum flows freely. It's hot, the sun is beating down... bring a cap!
