A hammock chair in tribute to the Rama people
This hammock chair pays tribute to the "Ramas," an indigenous people representing the smallest group in Nicaragua (about 1600 people). Since Spanish colonization, their numbers have significantly declined due to diseases, conflicts, and loss of territory. But in recent years, the population has been regaining strength and tends to increase.
